I’m Matthias – A Digital Product Designer, currently based in Berlin, Germany. User experience is at the heart of everything I do.
The understanding of user needs is fundamental to all my decisions. I love to create new things and to tackle challenging problems with intelligent concepts, intuitive structure and well-thought-out, aesthetic solutions.
I have been working as a designer for the past 8 years. At first I started working in a classic branding and advertising environment. But soon, getting to know the depth and complexity of designing digital products and user interfaces made me switch to working in digital design. My strong sense for typography, whitespace and outstanding brand identities perfectly complements my passion for clever digital solutions, my curiosity and my deep empathy for the people and the environment surrounding me in my every day life. As I was able to gather a wide range of work experience in various working areas, I feel comfortable in every phase of a design process.
Apart from work I’m into mountains, the sea, good food, road cycling, music, and nice, inspiring places and people.
