In December 2013 the Sparkasse bank introduced a credit card following the “show your card” benefit principle. The goal was to present a digital offer of information listing all partnering stores accepting this very card. This way, users of the credit card would be able to comb through the wide network of advantage partners within a categorized and well-arranged list view. Alternatively, the users are able to switch to a map view to find the nearest facility. Once the user has selected a partner company, the app provides them with both opening hours and contact dates for this very location. They are then able to mark the location as a favorite in order to return at a later point of time or – thanks to the integrated mobile navigation – immediately head to the facility.
